We are as excited with the Mach I trout as we are with the salmon versions. Simply, this is a thrilling range of high performance fly lines aimed at the technically proficient fly angler. There's a host of innovative features that will benefit all anglers from intermediate to advanced and, over all, they allow extreme distance casting whilst retaining excellent presentation at range. The radical taper design features a long front taper followed by the belly and the rear taper. You will notice slightly longer heads than normal, for example, forty-two feet for the six-weight and forty-four feet for the seven/eight-weight. Low diameter running lines offer shooting head casting benefits without any of the normal disadvantages. The colour changes indicate the precise lift off points for casting and, once again, every fishing situation is comfortably covered.

The sinking versions offer a unique proposition - two different sink rates built into one line with a distinct colour change to indicate the transition. The heads all sink faster than the running lines, offering several benefits - direct contact with the flies for better bite indication, fishing drop-offs from the bank, or when fishing 'the hang' from a boat where the colour changes help indicate taking depths.

The Mach I trout lines offer really gentle presentation for close-in work. However, once the head is fully out then the cast really whips away. And, like its big brother, the trout Mach I fishes wonderfully in winds where you will really notice the penetration. These radical new designs truly take modern fly-fishing to the next dimension.
